I would like to borrow or rent a copy of this film for the Middle West Meet this year to promote the Middle West Meet in Colorado Springs for 2014. I have asked the GM Heritage Center but they do not have a copy. If any of you have a copy please send me a PM.
VCCA members have access to a list of over 50 Technical Advisors who can help you with your car. It's worth the price of membership! While you can get a lot of information for free in this forum, sometimes the info that you REALLY need is only available from the right person. This is what "The World's Best Chevrolet Club" is all about!
I have the film and will bring it to the meet in June. Send me a reminder about June 1 st. Also have 1956 film of the passenger car making a record run up Pikes Peak.......if intrested.
That film was very interesting. I hadn't seen it before.
If I'm not mistaken, that was a 6 cylinder engine. If so, why was it chosen over the V-8? Did the six have more low end torque than the eight? Interesting.
