all right, how is it that there is only one fuse in the system? are there any in-line fuses that are hidden in the wiring? surly one fuse would not be enough protection for the car. do i need to add in-line fuses for the lighting, charging, and running circuitry?

scratching my bald head in amazement

Yes it is ubeliveable. One fuse for the entire car. You would think that all those old cars would have burned to the ground by now.

Running the wires UNDER the car, being exposed to all kinds of things, wasn't the best idea either.

This info is for a 38 model

Depending on the year of your car there may be an inline fuse for the brake lights.
Also an inline fuse for dealer installed accessories like a radio and heater.

After looking at older posts, I see bubbatom123 has a 40 coupe.
