Greetings All,
Can somebody give me some advice on how to remove the door glass on my 1939 Master Deluxe. For the live of me, I can't figure out how it comes out.

Thanks so much

If really big hammer is not the correct answer then I can't help much as I don't have a '39 and never worked on one. The repair manuals that I have for cars before and after that have instructions on removal of the glass. I can't imagine that the '39 Repair Manual does not. Maybe you can find something on the Click here old car manual website. Guess I might have helped more than I initially thought.

This is for a '38 but the '39 should be similar.

Maybe the information is in the Manual for Construction and Service for 1939 models. I know it is in the 1937-1938 manual. It is not in the 1937 shop manual.

The 1939 glass is removed the same as a 1937-1938.

Just took the windows out of my 37. Front door glass removal requires removal of the metal window framne (4 screws or so), arm rest removal (2 screws), then the inside door panel and you have access to the screws holding the glass receiver to the window slide assembly. To back up, the metal window frame/trim around the inside of the door surrounding the window has several small screws around the door perimeter that need to come out. Then the trim should pop out from the top followed by pulling up and toward the back. The lower edge of the trim holds the door panel against the door. Once the frame is out of the way the rest is pretty easy. Unscrew the arm rest and the door panel and you will have access to the four screws that secure the window to the slide assembly operated from the window crank. Speaking of which, you will need to remove the window crank (and vent window crank if front door). To do so they made a special tool to remove the clip in the crank. Look close at back edge of crank handle and you will see a slot. I have removed these clips by using a small allen wrench, sliding it behind the clip holding the crank and prying it upward. Do so slowly and ensure you have your finger over the back side so the clip doesn't fly or you may lose it an have to buy another.

If my prior post doesn't make sense send my your phone number and I can talk you through it. I am not familiar with the 39 but assumed it was same as the 37. If you are trying to get the glass out of the passenger window and you have a two door the process is a bit different.

The instructions are on page 20 and 21 of the 1939 shop manual.
I would have sent them but you did not list yor email address.
