A buddy is working on a 37/38 Master. He want to know what color the inner fenders were painted? The car is a dark green. HE thinks they should be a semi-black.

Any help?

Thanks,

Mine are black (semi-gloss) which fits with some factory photos I have, also.

I was thinking of the inner portion of the doghouse that attaches to the fender. Both sides are grey.

The inner area of the fenders was semi-black.
The exposed body areas under the front and rear fenders is body color as the body was painted before the fenders were installed,
