My wife is doing geneology on my family and found that William Durant is my 8th cousin 2x removed. Don't ask me what that means. Quite a few people between him and I.
Wasn't there an article in the G&D on Mr. Durant just before the 50th anniversery? She would like to read it. Seem like I remember it. Does anyone know what month it was in?

You may be thinking of the article by Don Williams entitled, "A Turning Point, The Chevrolet Four-Ninety" published in the December 2011 Commemotative issue G & D. That article covered Durant and Louis Chevrolet in the early Chevrolet history.

I think you are right about the article and when it was printed.
It was a relief to read the article, and I would enjoy if the forum could have a special column for the history of Durant, Chevrolet and the car.

Many users here like to read and discuss the early history of those fascinating people and our beloved brand.

Any hope of adding "The Chevrolet history and the men behind it", BBB????. And in the public section, please, for all to read and write.
