Nearly done with a frame off restoration of my "special". Keeping it absolutely as original as possible. Getting down to important small details. Want it to have emblems exact as from factory. In some pictures I have noticed that the bow tie on the trunk emblem and hood emblem are blue, but if that is factory original I want to be exact. Is there a color name or code for that blue color? Same goes for the blue on the bowtie of the hubcaps, as I have seen light, medium and dark blue in different pictures. Is there a special color name or number for the red for the background of the hood bow tie? On the trunk emblem, the horizontal rectangles seem to have a color in them. It looks either a dark blue or black. If it is factory, what color number or name is it? Or am I just being crazy for being so knit picky?
