It gives an outlet to express creative ideas that quite frankly would be too expensive to build in real life. I enjoy seeing factory prototypes, or other peoples vision of what a car could have been, if the idea had been thought of. Today we see these expressions not just through model cars, but also Photoshop and other computer programs. So here's the rules for this thread. It must be either A) a GM (Chevrolet) prototype, styling exercise, or mock up. B) A photoshop of a fairly stock looking car. C) or a real car that's been redone to look factory original, but is a "phantom" I'll be adding to this a little slower then the old photos thread! The first example I have is a Photoshop from the H.A.M.B. site. What if Chevrolet had built a Sport Coupe/El Camino... The real car... The Photoshop... Last edited by brewster; 01/17/13 05:42 PM. Only one was built, but the idea was integrated into the full size Nomad for 1955... Now there is a company that has done fibreglass re-pops, and you can build your own Motorama dream car... Now picture it bone stock... that's right, Chevrolet stopped building 3 window coupes in 1936. This 1938 owner has hit upon "what could have been"... I found the pic by googling "Vettevan" because I had the Hotwheels one when I was little. I wanted to see if anyone had built the full size version, but found this instead!
