I have used Paul's Rod/Bearing 6212 NW Bell Rd, Parkville, MO 64152 Phone:(816) 587-4747. Did a first class job for me. Even put in shims at my request. Don't normally put in shims which is okay for all but the pickiest.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

Since you're in PA, I can also toss out The Babbit Pot in Ft. Edward, which is about 24 miles north of Albany here in NY: 518 747 4277. All of the Model A guys swear by him, and he did an outstanding job for my '32 rods when I had them done in 2004. He's very precise - you have to give him the exact micrometer measurements off of the crankshaft. Hope that helps!

Just got my 31 back from Paul's in Parkville, Mo. Since I live within 200 miles, I just hauled it up and he did it while my wife and I played in KC over Valentine's day. As Chip mentioned, I requested shims in the Mains and he complied. Nice shop, neat and tidy, all the workers were helpful and forthcoming with information. Did a first rate job. Ron
