on the 7 tube dual speaker radio,  the grill that mounts on the firewall , what was the finish of the grill,body color or black. also can any one email the installation instuctions for this radio

The grill that mounts under the hood and on the firewall was the same color as the tuning and power supply units. I will provide you with a hard copy of the OM when I restore and return your radio.

thanks ray ,your right i looked at an original grill today and could see left over paint on the grill, brown is the color , radio should be there soon great job on the shortwave thanks

Are you refering to the Cowl Unit(Speaker)that mounts on the inside of the fire wall or the Resonance Muffler No.603499 that mounts in the engine compartment that allows air in to the back side of the Cowl Unit?

He is referring to the item that mounts on the engine side of the cowl. It is a rectangle shaped grill approximately 3 X 7 X 1 with 4 horizontal slots. It mounts with three tabs. If anyone has any of these items I am in the market for them.
