Hi, Does anyone know what the correct color scheme on the parking brake handle is supposed to be. Its a 1938 Master Deluxe model HA. Any help would be appreciated.

Judging by what paint is left on mine I'd say it's Plover Beige. It looks rusty but that's just well worn paint.

Thanks for the info, but isn't the small squeeze handle chrome by itself?

The push in handle is low grade stainless steel( maybe 304L). The handbrake extension is chrome.

Speaking of the handbrake lever..has anyone ever tried successfully to remove the two stainless rivets holding the brake lever so the lever can be refinished? and successfully installed a new set of rivets so it looks original? I'm not sure how they bucked the rivets originally...looks like they had a machine that did it....doesn't look like a normal bucked rivet..I've got a brake lever assembly that had them removed and someone tapped one end of the rivets to hold them in...and that's exactly what it looks like!...doesn't look original at all...Billu38

I polished mine up as best I could. If you're going to take it all apart...go chrome !! smiles
