A little more explanation may help you to get the information you need.Did you take them apart or are you looking for installation information?

I'm trying to put the bases on the trumpets and there is a center piece with a stud sticking out, does that go against the electrical solindoid?

I think you are confusing the electromagnet for a solenoid. There is a small off centered stud on the back of the vibrator (wavy sheet metal disc with threaded stud and nut that holds on a smaller plate). The small stud needs to contact the round insulated paddle. That is what switches the electromagnet off and on making the disc vibrate and make noise.

Is there any adjustments? I try it that way and the horn just clicked?

Does it make a difference on the wire hookup?

Thanks,

Frankie

There is a slotted adjustment stud on the back with a lock nut. Loosen the nut and try moving the stud one way or the other. Was the horn working prior to taking it apart?

If you have a VOM or ohm meter, adjust the screw on the back so that there is only the slightest contact. That should make a contact to retract the disc when the electromagnet is energized and get the disc vibrating. Slight adjustments will finally get a loud vibration.
