I have a 32 BA confederate deluxe convertible. At around 25 / 30 mph the front shimmies like it's going to fall off. My rims and tires have been balanced and all tie rods are fine. Anyone have an idea what's going on

Turned out to be shocks on my '38. I even had my single acting lever shocks rebuilt but it didn't completely stop it. I ended up converting to tube type shocks, problem solved.

Sounds like a wheel alignment or sagging front spring problem.Have you had the toe in,caster & camber checked?
Wheel alignment data for a '32 is as follows:

Caster: 2 1/4 degrees positive

Camber: 1 1/2 degrees positive

Toe in: 1/16" - 3/16"

Car to be loaded with a fuel tank of petrol(gas)
