I have to replace the regulator on my driver's door vent window. I have a spare one but it is on a different kind of frame. Where is it best to detach it? From the plate or from the frame? ![[Linked Image from i1176.photobucket.com]](http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x324/landman2/CopyofFeb82013008.jpg)

I think I would leave the frame intact & just remove the regulator....Joe

Pat,
I have mine apart. I drilled out hte rivets that hold the regulator to the frame. I'll look up the rivet size and send it the information to you. It is not hard to install the regulator with new rivets. I have spare frames if you need one. Einar

If I understand you guys properly, the plate behind the regulator is part of the frame, is that correct?

Einar, I have a box full of rivets. If I can't find the right one, I may get back to you.
Best Regards, Pat
