Hello to all; Would anyone out there possibly, know\have, the paint formula for the color Plover Beige? Its the color on the lower part of the dash on a 37 MD!. I have the darker brown, for the upper part of the dash{ Sephia Brown }, but the problem is, the ID gun at the paint shop, can't get a good read on the {Plover Beige} or whats left of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Joe,

Plover Beige is also the accent color on the 38 dash. I had the paint guy "shoot" the color with his gun, but it didn't look right; I subsequently tried 2 other shades. I finally settled on the 1938 Chevy color called "Brookwood Beige Poly." I got it from AutoColor Library. I was very satisfied with it and I thought it came closest to the spots of original Plover Beige I had on the car.

You can see several pictures of my dash in the 1937-42 Forum in a recent thread on 1938 Dash Colors. It's the accent color on the lower band of the dash.

Good luck!

Thank's Jim, I'll see if they can look that up at the paint shop, Joe.
