OP lm46 Grease Monkey Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 4 virginia	I HAVE AN ORGINAL RADIO FOR MY 1946 CHEVY PICKUP. WHERE DOES IT GET INSTALLED UNDER THE DASH. IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL INTERFER WITH THE COWL LEVER, CHOKE CABLE, THROTTLE CABLE OR OIL PRESSURE TUBING. THANKS LARRY

It does not seem correct as modern cars put them in the middle but the correct placement is on the left side of the column. I'll post a follow up photo later on the linked thread. My radio is installed but the truck is not at my house now so I'll take a photo later and post it on my site and the linked thread. The heater, defroster and fog light switches get installed in the holes under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. The holes are perfectly spaced for the rectangular brown switches.
