I have seen two different photos showing the valve cover decals on a '54 235 Powerglide engine. "BLUE FLAME 125" One shows the decals going over the radius between the side and the top, about 50% on the side and 50% on the top. Then today I was looking at the current G & D and saw an article about a '54 that showed the decal located only on the flat side on the right. Can anyone shed light on which is the correct? Thanks, Ron

All I can tell you is that all I have seen were on the flat side on the passengers side.

I have a 1953 235 with the original untouched motor and what is left of the decal is on the right flat side. Al

The correct location for the valve cover decal in 1954 is on the radius. The 1954 in the G&D has many incorrect items.
