Thats a good one, I wrote him this after noon about the tube nuts. I know that auto hardware does and nickle plated, and now you will ask me about auto hardware, at this time my paper work is in the shop.Ill look it up and try to post it "if you remind me" The ones I got "tee bolts" look real good I know thay are not suposed to be plated but, I can take care of that or not. I was told they were paint not chrome, but you see alot of chrome ones. What color would they be: body color or trim color?

Roger There are two different size t-bolts listed. I am assuming you purchased the 10-32 size. Am I correct?

Hey Roger!

Your T-bolts were chrome? What did you buy? The ones that I got were not. Do they look the same as the ones I posted a picture of?

Hi. I just went through this for my 31 roadster. I could not find anyplace for the T bolts so I split a large spike nail in half then bent them around a pipe to get the curve and then used a grinding wheel to finish shaping them. I then brazed a 10- 32 machine screw to the T that I made. For the tube nut with a slotted end, I got those from Bonny Lebaron. If you go through their catalog you will find them. There is a choice of 2 platings. I was lucky that I had one that I was able to salvage from my top to use as a sample. It takes about half a day to do 4 of them from start to finish.

If it isn't broken, fiddle with it anyway so you have something to repair.

Does anyone have some extra Fastenal SKU 0123394? I could not find any from any of the local Fastenal branches. I tried to order online, but it's blocking me for some reason. I am willing to pay.
