A friend of mine is restoring a beautiful 1932 Phaeton. He needs pictures of correct details in the engine room, of door handles, dashboard, the metal to top, wiring and a lot more.

Anyone having such digital pictures to send to him in short time?

Here is his adress: post@classicautoservice.no

Hei, Solan. I have several 32 Phaeton pictures on my computer. Several of these are of a 32 Phaeton that used to be located here in Manassas, VA. I can send some of them to the man who needs them. That Phaeton was restored at least 30 years ago, and most likely, it is very authentic. I am sure there are at least two 32 Phaetons somewhere in Norway, I have seen two in Oslo since being a russ in 1964. Hilsen 18184 Storaker

Hey Solan, I can send you all the info you would like. I have a lot of the 32 phaeton's documented. I can also tell you what is right or wrong. Also you will need to make some of the handles if you don't have them. I need to make one rear handle as they are phaeton only.

I emailed several pictures, including a detailed illustration of the open car windshield parts assembly copied from the partsbook. The person had requested pictures from the following areas to start: Engine compartment, firewall, "underneath the dashboard", front windshield and "other things in that vicinity". The only thing I did not have is a picture from "underneath the dashboard". I also sent them a link to www.1932chevrolet.com instructing them to take a look ath the 32 Phaeton under restauration on that website. I do not know if any of the above took care of any thing they needed since the only reply I received simply stated "Thank you for the nice pictures". Regarding interior door handles: I believe that the '31 and 32 phaeton use the same handles? If so, the rear handles are available from LeBaron Bonney but are used on open Fords. VCCA 18184
