1- When the time comes to install the garnish molding, how important is it to use this tool? ![[Linked Image from i1176.photobucket.com]](http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x324/landman2/Windshieldtool_zps6fcfb6a2.jpg) 2- I bought a kit of garnish molding screws. They are all wood screws. I see the top of the windshield opening has threaded holes. Does one use the wood screws there too of do I have to source matching machine crews? That may prove to be a challenge.

I had a closer look. The top 8 holes are threaded for 6/32 machine screws. I suppose one could enlarge the holes and drive some screws into the header wood but there are four in the wiper motor openings that would dtill require machine screws.

Pat,
The screws should be 6/32 X 1" oval head slotted screws (originally chrome) and there are 8 of them. McMaster-Carr 91790A153 - 6/32 X 1" Stainless -- should work.
