Is anyone reproducing the distributor drive casting for the 1919 to 1922 model FB? May be the same as used on the 490 and model D.The piece that bolts bto the back of the generator and holds the distibutor. I have 3 and all are broken or cracked.

That is a normal situation, the pot metal always breaks and cracks. Gary Wallace was selling a reproduction of the rear generator housing you need, I think from aluminum (?). But I am not sure of which models the FB would interchange with. Might be the same as the later 490 and the Superior. It would not be the same as the Model D. I will have a look at the parts book.

The 1928 Master Parts Book is not terribly clear on this subject. Looking at Gary Wallace's web page catalog, he lists the round type Autolite end cap for 1917-1924, but does not specify Model application (which would suggest they are the same). Suggest you contact Gary and inquire about application for your specific model. They are not cheap.
