I reinstalled the engine sidepans today - I have the two front brackets and found the rear mounting holes on both sides. There are two holes on the outside edge of each pan that must receive clips to attach to the frame. Can someone tell me what those clips look like?
Does the outer edge of the pan sit on top of or below the frame flange?

I don't know specifics on '34 as I don't have one. The earlier years have an 90 deg bracket that mounts to the cross member or rear motor mount. The outside edge of the pan rests and is bolted (1/4-20 slotted round head screws aka "stove bolts") to the top side of the lower frame rail.

Stu, the clips look like this:

The painted ones are the only ones I had. I made the others using flat bar. In my car, the pans sit above the frame.

I think I have one pair so I'll make the rest. I appreciate your help and the great pictures.

Stu, a wire harness retainer goes under the screw head at the front clamp for the left side pan.

Looks like I'll put a wire harness retainer there as well. Thanks Bill.

Hi Pat: The wire harness clip is what holds the head light/horn harness....JIM

The harness contains the headlight, horn, and generator wires at the point where the retainer under the side pan clamp screw is. After the horn wires branch out, they go through the metal conduit which is held in place by a harness retainer under the top left water pump bolt.
