Hope everyone had a great Holiday Season.

I have 2 questions. How should I check a vacuum advance unit and coil on a 216 in a 1938 chevy truck?

Thx

Easiest way is to observe the link to see if it moves one direction at idle and the other direction when engine is accelerated. Another way is to suck on a rubber hose attached to the fitting and note if the link moves. If you seal the end of the hose with your tongue and the link stays in position it is okay.
