anyone have a good way to try to free up the bottom end of a motor? it is striped to the block (head ect is off) somewhere i saw a post about this but i can not find it.
also this is a spare motor not the one in the 31

If there is rust in the cylinders above the pistons remove as much as you can then add your penetrating liquid of choice.Let it sit for at least 24 hours.Tap on the pistons with a block of wood and a 3 lb hammer and if it does not go readily repeat the penetrating oil process and be patient.
