This is my wife's grandfather. Can you identify the car behind him and the fish? Thanks ![[Linked Image from vccachat.org]](https://vccachat.org/gallery/default/full/2290.jpg)

Can't help with the car, but I see what look like several smallmouth bass and one pickerel (pike). All fresh water fish.
Could the car be a Graham? Split rear window is the hint.

1940 Studebaker Commander or a 1939 converted to sealed beams

Yep, scratch the Graham, I'll go along with Gene on the Studebaker.

Thanks Ken48 and Chev Nut. A 39 Studebaker makes sense since this photo was taken in Indiana.

Seems to be a '39 Studebaker Commander, with 1940 Studebaker headlights/bezels. The '40 units were seal beam units, but retained the same oval trim shape as '39, making conversion easy.

My guess was going to be Studebaker due to the hood trim and other front end parts.
