Gentlemen ---need some help --on putting the trunk lock together on my master deluxe 4 door ,the car has 2 holes for the licence plate bracket --the hole for the trunk handle and then-----between the trunk handle and the lower hole for the licence plate bracket is a rectangler shaped hole ( 13/16 left to right and 1/2 top to btm.)---------what's it for ?????

It has been a long time since I've had that bracket off but if my memory is correct the hole that you are describing is the hole for the license light wire to pass through. The original wiring for the license light wire had a connector that required a hole about that size to pass through.
