Hi members. I was talking to my dad last night who is 82 and he was telling me about his first car. It was a 1957 chev that was colonial cream and a onyx black top. Was this a rare color combination. I dont seem to be able to see alot of them. All he could remember was it was a standard on the tree and a V8. I really dont know alot about this year and would like any help i can get. Thanks Mark

I don't think they kept specific records to how many of each colour were made, but Googling "1957 Chevrolet Colonial Cream" gets one hit with a black top... Lots of India Ivory tops though. ![[Linked Image from i150.photobucket.com]](http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/brewsterg6/My%201951%20Chevrolet/belair-1A.jpg)

There is a Colonial Cream and Black 2 door hardtop in Houston. Basically an original car. Could be bought for the right price. I can get a serious buyer in touch with the owner. He is a VCCA member.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
