Hi:

I am trying to decide whether to use the rubber "pads" under my fender spears. These are available from many sources, however, I cannot find them in the parts book or find any reference to them in the Fisher Body Book. Now I know that this is probably not the first time parts suppliers have made parts to satisfy a demand in the market althought they never were original to the car, but I am interested to know for certain whether the spears were mounted on the pads or not.

Thanks coldwaterflat@comcast.net

If your car was judged at a VCCA or AACA meet points would be deducted as they are incorrect-(not as came from factory)

Chevgene,

Do you have any words of wisdom on how to minimize the effect of metal to metal contact & paint damage where the headlights & parking lights mount to the fenders if no pads are used.

Thank You
