OK, a question that I can not find an answer to, YET. Do we know how many cars were produced at each plant? And, what models they were? We know that 229373 1940 Master Deluxe were built, Overall production: 764616 units
(KA - 431199, KH - 229373, KB - 104044).

Is there anyway to figure out how many were built in each plant? and how many were 2 door and how many were 4 door?
4 different models of KHs I believe.

I know mine was built in Buffalo, NY. I Also know that there were at least 9 plants, just in the USA.

Do we know the date of production start, or stop? I figured start was Early September and end was Early August, but not sure.

Thanks,

Production figures by body style can be found here: http://home.znet.com/c1937/Prod.htm

Your right about production start/stop '40 is listed as Sept.thru Aug.
As far as how many were produced at each plant the best you can do is calculate an average. Total production divided by the number of plants. I know Buffalo closed in '40 and there were 9 plants in '41. I doubt all plants were equal in size and output and probably didn't have the same mix of models, so that information is probably lost forever.
