The only (verbal)info I have is that there is a bracket that mounts to 1 of the exhaust manifold studs under the carb and a brass cable stop pin on the cable. If you get a photo, please let me know I am in the same boat....Thank you.....JIM

The throttle cable housing is clamped with a bracket to one of the carb bowl cover screws. Throttle cabe pointing down.
The wire goes through what would appear to be a cotter pin hole in the linkage rod at the throttle lever. A wire stop or cable stop clamps below the rod so the wire can pull when the knob is pulled and the foot pedal can operate independently.
Nothing is mounted to a manifold bolt on my car ('35 Standard) or trucks ('35, '36, '38, '39, '40, etc)

Joe,

I just emailed you two pictures of my '34 showing how the throttle cable is attached just as 35Mike described. I assume your '35 would be the same.

Send me your email address. I have 2 pics. Very helpful! The cable goes down between the block and the manifold. There is a bracket with a hole for the cable just at the top of the 2 springs under the mani.

I can't supply a photo because my car is in winter storage and not available, but the previous reply is correct that there is a bracket for the cable is located on the manifold behind the carburetor. The cable then runs down behind the manifold and is connected to a bell-crank affair where the linkage from the accelerator pedal connects. You almost must remove the manifold to get a picture.
