Hi all,

In my quest to make our '47 a little more enjoyable, I'd like to get a front floor mat since our original one has crumbled to pieces. Without wanting to spend a ton of $ on a reproduction one right now, I have the opportunity to purchase a nice NOS rubber floor mat for a 41-48 Pontiac that is still in great shape for not a lot of money.

My question is, are the 41-48 Pontiac front floor boards the same as the Chevrolet? Visibly it looks the same and has the cutouts around the pedals and dimmer switch. But I'm not certain they are exactly the same. I figured I'd ask the brain trust.

Thanks,
-D

The pedal holes are in entirely different locations and the hump is a different shape in a Pontiac. Also the were two different Pontiac Fisher bodies. Te small used the A body and the large used the B body which was wider.

Thanks Gene, I appreciate the info. Guess I'll save my pennies for the real thing.
