Does anyone have a book on starters that lists BIJUR SYSTEM, serial # DX 73 5 numbers I can't read? I think this may be Canadian. If you have this listing what does it cross over to that may be available in US.

I am not aware of any starters but they did make the automatic lube system on my Packard.

I did a quick search through my 1912-1930 catalogs. I found a lot of Bijur starters and generators, but nothing close to that number. Sorry I couldn't help, How sure are you of that number?

This starter was to go on a Fire Chiefs Truck in Canada and I was just trying to help them. We found the correct starter on eBay. It was NOS and as such did not have the (Bendix). Later another starter was listed by the same shop and although used had the proper (Bendix). Have not heard back from them, but assume they now have a running rig. Thanks for the help.
