For proof,see random photo to right of Tiny's nicely restored '38 I believe. Looks to me like same car, and if not, I'm sure Tiny could connect the dots!!

I saw Tiny's car coincidentally (as he posted it a while back) it was in the "previous photos" section at the very time I was looking at this thread. If anyone wants to look up Tiny's posting, it has a great shot of the original car in the dusty ole garage where he found it, a pic of the dust covered beast being towed home, and of course a pic of it now, shiny, like new.

Ya Tiny, the barn find photos of that coupe are wonderful. Hopefully others reading this thread may post some of their cars "as found". And is that really you in the original photo?

Nope, can't lay claim to that one. I was 18 at first introduction then it took me 40 years to talk the owner out of the car.

I don't know what I'm looking at..but check out the springs on the vehicle to the left. Leaf springs connected and going in two directions..

Since I can't do anything else to the Emerald Queen 38 without spending big bucks,I might be in the market for another old chevy. If so, I'll be posting on forums other than 37-42 and Gen Dis.
Anyway the total keeps rising, or until Bill runs me off, I'll be posting away with endless questions and remarks and photos (photos after Christmas/ broken camera).

Yep, but I think that the "Technical" thingy was also a matter of necessity since there was a dude in the 1937-42 forum that posted everything on the planet in that forum instead of in the proper forums. Hopefully, the "Technical" wording will help to correct that problem.

It will help correct the problem. You haven't seen anyone ask if they were in the right place on their first post have you. Problem solved.
