I'm looking at the difference in WIDTH overall. I didn't think the 39 was that much wider.

I may be wrong here but wasn't FDR's limo and 1939 Chevrolet convertible limo? I Believe that FDR's convertible Limo was a 1939 Lincoln.....ED

there where 39 chevrolet convertibles made, Holden bodied produced in Australia.
