Hi Guys,
My son is getting married early next year, and normally I would be asking for tips and advice on the normal pre wedding spruce ups for the Red Chev.
Regretably this is my final posting on the VCCA site as for reasons best explained in the General Discussion Forum I have decieded to cease my involvement.
See Ya down the road somewhere.
Ray
Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great" I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/

Hi Ray,
Sorry to see you cease involvement on this site which I have watched with interest and occasionally sought advice and contributed to. It has been great to see input from chev owners from all parts of the globe and particularly the Aussies.
Thanks for your contribution to this site over the years, these old cars give owners a few headaches and a lot of pleasure and they certainly create enjoyment and interest for many members of the public.
As for your young bloke's wedding have a great day I have only seen photos of your car and apart from a mechanical check and pre wedding clean it will be just fine as it is. I am not sure whether ribbons are attached but if so that would be about it.
Bob

I too think that "1928isgreat" as I have 3 of them. I am obligated to follow the instructions of the Master of this Forum, as I am a Moderator for this thread. I support Bill %100. It is your decision to withdraw from the Forum, but I believe your decision was made in haste. I suggest you hang around for a while and just monitor what is happening and then make your decision. When I have time when reading the Forum, I follow your posts and enjoy them immensely. I also follow several of your compatriots as I am up and on the computer when you blokes are participating. So, hang around for a while.

Well said Radio Ray. Here's hoping 28 Great Aussie Ray just takes a wee bit of a "time out," maybe sips a tall cold one and then comes back refreshed and raring to go. Bill. PS: Have a GREAT time at the Wedding!!!

Hi there, I too have been following Ray's excellent posts on many varied and interesting subjects. The year to year nominated forums are for technical help and advice, simple. Any other news and information goes into other nominated forums, both very simple rules for all to follow. Maybe a simple short link in a particular forum, alerting interested parties to check out other links is permitted? Ray: if you posted in the wrong forum and you were not aware of the rules, you now are, and should move on and continue to enjoy the help and enjoyment of the VCCA. I really cant see what all the fuss is about. Rules are rules and we all have to abide by them for sanity's sake..... Peter
