The Filling Station's new catalog shows the running board mats as "Temp Out", which means that they might get the mats back in stock someday. Don't know if anyone else has the running board mats in stock.

I & I reproductions will only make a run of the 32 runningboard rubbers and any other 32-36 chev they have molds for when they get enough people interested and on their WANTED LIST.
If you get on the wanted list with WENDY they will email you and notify when they are going to redo another batch. This way you do not miss out. Most likely Filling station gets theirs from I&I. ?

I'd be interested in those, too. Any reasonable guess (or actual estimated cost) from I&I on how much these would be? I've hesitated in the past on these because they've been so expensive.

I've hesitated in the past on these because they've been so expensive. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I think the rubber running board mats sell for around $175 or so when available. When you think of it, what would you have to pay for a pair of N O S ones ? I have seen 34- 35 std series ones ( from I&I ) sell on ebay when they are sold out & not available for as high as $730 . A NOS pair might fetch $1000 ?? When you think about the amount of time & $$$ it took to mill out the molds to make them, and how many sets they had to sell to recoupe JUST their mold costs, never mind the cost of actually making the rubber mats too. Restoring a car is an expensive hobby, it costs money to play. mike lynch

Never really paying a lot of attention to 1931-32 chevys parts that were made for them , i just assumed the runningboard rubber was made reproduction like the 1933--1936 ones were. I am very surprised to find out they were not. looked in my EXPERI-METAL INC. catalogue of sterling heights michigan.......these are the people that made the reproduction 1932 steel roadster and a whole lot of parts that are mostly gone now. Most of what was left over after the bankrupcy in the early 90's ??? went to 2932 parts in ohio . 2932 parts is officially ...BOWTIE REPRODUCTIONS... www.bowtiereproductions.comphone.......440--327-4800 fax 440-327-9599 they have some printed sheets of what they may still have in stock mike lynch They show part number, theirs as #1883 .

The part # JM stands for JIM McConville who originally made all the molds to produce these. I & I repo now owns those molds, I believe.......1---562--531---8117 mike lynch
