I'm working on a 28, attempting to connect the throttle/timing linkage from the steering wheel....
When I turn the steering wheel, those controls turn also.
When I look at the bottom end of the steering column, there appears to be a locking clamp, that is tight but still allows the controls to rotate as the steering wheel rotates.
Am I looking at the right place to secure these controls? Is there something else I need to look into?
I'm pretty inexperienced at this, but this appears to be the only clamping location that I see....
