Has anyone reupholstered the interior door panels over a wood/metal door for a 36 Chev? I am having trouble determining how the material goes around the windows and how the garnish is installed. Like to have photos if possible.

Thanks,
Peter

Are you looking for factory install or how an upholstery shop did mine? I don't know if mine is as the factory did it but can take a photo.

I am looking for how the upholstry fits the door frame. There were no window garnishes/moldings on my car and the wood was redone by a non expert. I really need to see what the door frame looked like before any new upholstry was installed. Right now, it is difficult to tell as the garnish/moldings i purchased don't fit and I'm being told that they have to take most of the top part away.

I could take a picture of a 36 coupe door without upholstery if that would help.

A picture of your 36 coupe door without upholstery would be extremely useful.

Thanks.
