Hello Forum,
I ordered the new water pump and the baffle plate from the Filling Station for my 31 Coach to take advantage of the discount price and have available for future installation. I have not consulted the repair manual yet, but am curious to know how the removal and installation of the baffle plate is performed. Is the old plate ruined or reusable? Is the plate pressed in or bonded in? Any advice regarding the plate would be useful. Thank You

Originally the baffle plate is pressed in. Corrosion in the block often makes it difficult to press in a replacement so another method to secure the plate may be necessary.
