Hi, My father that past away earlier this year installed new bushings on the spindles on the chevy 31, now I going to install the spindles on the front axle and wunder, are there any difference between left and right splindles? They looks the same to me.
Best regards Jan

The same "Knuckle" (it was not referred to as a spindle back then) is used left and right. An L shaped "Knuckle Stop" is bolted to the inner end of the axle on each end and if you note where the corresponding wear marks are on your Knuckles, you should be able to figure which one came from which side originally.

Thanks Gunsmoke, Guess there be a few questions here. The Chevy 31 is in totally dismantled and the parts are mixed with Chevt 25 parts. Hopefully will both cars be on the road again some day.
