I came back from Herhsey with a NOS Windshield washer, pump and bracket for my 54. I need a couple things, one is the little rod that goes in the wiper control and the other is I need to know what the hook up looks like when it's done right. Also have the double action fuel pump since this car wasn't equipped with either one of these I want to do a nice looking job of installation. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe a good picture or some description. Possibly could copy that little rod that goes in the wiper switch if I knew what it looked like and had the exact dimensions. Thanks for any help.

Hookup and diagrams for windshield washer #986650 starts on page 137 of the 1954 Accessories Installation Manual. Windshield Washer Co-ordinator #986984 starts on page 140. Truck foot operated windshield washer #986983 starts on page 141.
Don't know if it applies to you, but I have a .pdf of Technical Service Bulletin #DR-189 "Foot Operated Windshield Washer, Electric Windshield Wiper" that I can send to you.
Again, don't know if it applies to your '54 wagon, I can send you the Truck Factory Assembly Manual diagrams and line routing for RPO 340 Fuel & Vacuum Pump Instruction.

Thanks Lonnie for the reply and help offered. The Station Wagon is the same as all the other cars Belair and such. Vacuum wiper with vacuum windshield washers. The switch that comes with the car comes without the little rod that goes in the switch when you are installing the vacuum washers. As far as the plumbing goes I think the truck might be different.
