They should be different. In the parts book they list 31 passenger as one part number. Then they show pick up & sedan delivery as another...Joe

Although the difference may be immaterial? For example one may have an extra bolt hole or two (that can be dealt with) but be otherwise identical. Don't rule out the possibility one could be exchanged for the other and only an expert would know.

These 2 fenders are totally different from each other. The car one attaches to the apron different than the truck & doesn't use the same aprons or boards. I guess you could put all car stuff on or all truck but not mix of both...Joe

As one of the 3 posters, I'd listen to the last advice i.e. they are different as he describes, he seems to know for sure. However, if you have no fenders and these are close by and only ones available, you may find a good body man who can modify them in the area where they meet running boards and apron to suit your PU. Is your project aimed at originality or "driver status"?

The '31 1/2 ton (pickup, et. al.) are totally different from the '31 passenger front (and for that matter rear too) fenders. One of the differences is that 1/2 ton are 10" wide where they attach to the running boards and the passenger 11"+.

thanks, thats the info i was looking for. i think i'll wait untill i can look at them if they don't sell. they are on ebay and in portland or.about 200 mi from me. i'll probibly just get the body tools out and smooth the ones i have. i've been hammering metal for about 35 years. its just that i get kinda lazy when it comes to my own stuff i would rather just buy some nice ones.
thanks agin Jay d

The 1932 Deluxe 1/2 chassis uses 1931 passenger fenders, fender braces, headlight bar, splash aprons and running boards. I personally consider modifying 1931 passenger fenders to use on a 1931 1/2 ton pickup. There is just too much work to get them to fit the original splash aprons, running boards. You can use 1929 or 1930 passenger and truck front fenders on your '31 pickup. There are a few differences but will fit and look right to all but the few that know the difference.

If you are looking at the fenders listed on eBay under item 230866072033, they appear to be 1929-30 passenger or truck fenders. They also seem to be rusty and thin but may be better than you have. They will bolt on your '31 Pickup but are not 100% correct. As I wrote above the difference is subtle and vast majority will not notice it.

yep, they look kinda soft in some places i wish i could see them for real. my fenders are not rusty but bent up a little. i have a second set but they are bent to, there some parts i can cut form them and weld to my other ones. i just need to get the ambition.
