The old stovebox just wasn't getting enough heat! I installed the 3/8 copper tubing like the instructions stated with only one hole in the heat plate...THAT DIDN"T WORK.

I took it all apart and drill/tapped ANOTHER hole and drilled the orginal hole out and tapped it for 1/2" tubing. Now it has two 1/2" OD tubes FEEDING (Charlie)the heat plate.

Test drive showed no hesitation. It seemed as if the engine was staying hot at the intake and no leaks( seepage..Charlie).

Dang! Steve,
You always seem to come up with something that is not only functional but looks GOOD!
You keep this up and I'll have to relocate to Tennessee!
Maybe Charlie would move too! NAH!!!

A side note on Fenton cast iron dual exhaust manifolds: Their early castings were changed in shape around 1953 due to interference with some aftermarket dual intake manifolds. So if using old manifolds, check for clearance.
