Looks like the morons are out in force on eBay this month! The price for the bottle is ridiculous. I wish that I could find some of these idiots when I want to sell something! :( :( :( :( :(

....and I thought P.T. Barnum was dead and gone...I guess he just moved over to eBay Motors!

JYD you just don't have the right wordings on the stuff you sell, you try to tell the truth.....also I think you may really not want to sell any of your Chevy stuff.

(I get told that all the time) and I really don't care if I sell it or not. but would you "Wanna buy a Duck?"

Chev Nut: I totally agree..........the buyer is nuts!

Macky Wacky: The mirror clock that I will list on eBay will be in pieces.....the clock doesn't work, the mirror is broken, and the hands on the clock are missing. However, I will describe it as being in almost mint condition otherwise. That way the moron buyer will think that he is getting one heck of a deal at only $6,559. Otherwise, if the clock was complete and worked, I would have to start the bidding at $10,000 instead!   dance

The auction ended at $951 for that stupid bottle! "Ultimatehelmet" was the high bidder and he met the reserve. Check out his last two negative feedbacks for non-payment. I wonder if he will pay for this one? He should change his user name to "Ultimatemoron". ha ha! laugh laugh laugh laugh

Washer bottle for a '37 ?? I've owned a number of '37's over the last 25+ years and have collected tons of literature for that model year, but I NEVER remember coming across a washer bottle
Anybody have knowledge of that bottle being used in 1937 or in '38-'39 for that matter ??

I bought a washer bottle off eBay a couple of months ago for my 41. It was in the original deteriorated box, included hoses and install instructions, and had a 1940 sales receipt. It didn't look like that $900 version. Oh, I only paid $76.

Bob,The windshield washer was introduced in 1938.After that time it was listed as fitting a 1937 as it would fit a 1937 as the cars were the same in that area.

The jar and pump and bracket pictured is correct for a 1938-39.The 1940 and up used a different unit including the jar and its mounting bracket. The 1938-39 unit is very rare-thus will command a higher price.
