I question whether you would have the strength in that position.

Yep, I'd say it would, but why not just pull the fan belt by hand? I guess if you had a buddy willing to help,it might be a good idea.

If I was to make a tool like that I would weld a nut to the end of the crank and use my long ratchet to turn the motor.

This makes it easier to use one hand to turn the crank and free the other hand up to hold your beer.

That would work well until you turned the crankshaft a little too far then turning back you would have to revert to the fan belt.
