what was the part number for the exhaust manifold heater that connected to the floor board to heat the passenger cabin

1927 was there ever an OEM or were they all aftermarket parts

see my last post also on four mystery part numbers

The exhaust manifold heater was not available for the 1927 and earlier. Some aftermarket units were available for the single exhaust.

The first Chevrolet heater was offered in 1928 and was for the two outlet exhausts.

anyway to look up those part numbers, I've purchased some manuals but none have part number indexes

The heater supplied by Chevrolet was announced on page 12, Jan 28 Chevrolet Service News.

The part number for the complete unit is: 361578. It is designed for the National (1928) car.
