Looking for information on my '40 chevy master delux primarilly where it was mfg'ed and when .The I.D. tag (under where the passenger would sit )has a "vin" # of 21KH12 then on the same line although with a space-- in smaller stamping's the number's 6670---can anyone help me ????

Your car was manufactured in the Janesville, Wisconsin factory in December of 1939. The "KH" designates that your car is a 1940 Master Deluxe passenger car with knee action. J.Y.D.--------Thank you for your quick answer---as Twin Lakes is about 40 miles away from janesville I guess you could say the car is almost "home" again !!! Thank you
