OP chevmandog Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 108 twin lakes wi 53181	Looking for information on my '40 chevy master delux primarilly where it was mfg'ed and when .The I.D. tag (under where the passenger would sit )has a "vin" # of 21KH12 then on the same line although with a space-- in smaller stamping's the number's 6670---can anyone help me ???? john

The "KH" designates that your car is a 1940 Master Deluxe passenger car with knee action. Your vehicle was the 5,670th car manufactured in the Janesville factory for that model year.
