Below is the start of my Chevrolet Speedster; I am excited to be a part of the new Chevrolet Four-Cylinder Speedsters 1914-1928 Region. My Speedster will be built on a race car theme on the 1928 chassis; it will be built using the original 1928 driveline and some of the 1928 front sheet metal. This will be the first non-original Chevrolet that I have restored or assembled. In 1975, I purchased a 1936 Chevrolet Standard Town Sedan to build a street rod but joined the VCCA ended up performing a total restoration on that 1936 Chevrolet which was completed in 1978; this vehicle is still being showed as a VCCA Preservation Award winner. Since that restoration, I have restored approximately 10 Chevrolets and 2 MoPars to factory original condition. I look forward to producing a Chevrolet Speedster as a part of Chevrolet history as seen on the fairground dirt tracks across the USA. I am also excited about acquiring a leather helmet and goggles as part of Chevrolet history.

If things worked right, the following site will have a couple of pictures:

My wife bought me a very nice leather helmet and goggles for Christmas. She said I can wear them while I am driving the speedster because will not be riding with me and she can say "I don't that crazy guy in that odd car!" I am so looking forward to when I can take this thing on the road!
