Guys,

On a 37-38 truck cab, the dash and mouldings over the windows, etc., were wrinkle brown. The firewall, floor, lower side panels (behind the kick panels), etc., I believe were black. When the body of the truck was a different color from black, what color were the door jambs of the cab, black or body color? In other words, does the body color stop at the exterior edge of the door jamb, or does it cover the jamb from the outside edge to the inside edge?

Thanks for your help.

My 37 1/2 ton still has its original Brewster green paint in good condition, and the green paint covers the entire width of the door jamb (front, rear, top and the rocker panel at the bottom). The edges of the door are green for their full width also.

Mark,

Thanks, that's what I needed to know!

Yours,
