Was the stock carb black with a silver top? Would someone direct me to a color picture of one.

I just rebuilt the W-1 on my '37 business coupe. I have an excellent photo, which is supposed to be the original colors. I can e-mail to you if you let me know your address.

The cast iron body was black.The pot metal air horn and bowl cover are "natural" silver-gray.The little button plugs in the body (small-no slots) are copper color.The removable plugs and jets are natural brass.

The link and description have been helpful. I have 2 w-1's and one has a silver bowl and one has a black bowl.
