Can someone please send me a couple of photos of the bottom edge of their '48 Coupe hood where it comes in contact with the fender, as well as the corresponding joint on the fender. I would also like photos that show the correct bumpers where the hood rests on the top of the dog house. My car arrived yesterday and while it is very nice, it does have a few issues I would like to correct right away. The restoration was obviously done by an amateur with limited funds and perhaps, even knowledge. I need to get the proper rubbers all around the hood/fenders/dog house to stop further damage to the paint. Just to make it easy, here is my email. srdeni@frontiernet.net Note, "net" appears twice. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this. Beamer

Thanks for your reply. I am familiar with Steele. Their catalog shows the parts but it doesn't show where they go and that is the information I need. Right now, there are a multitude of things between the hood and fenders, such as glued on felt pads, that don't belong there. I need some photos to show what does belong there. Beamer

Thanks to everyone who sent me photos of the hood/fender rubber bumpers. They will help me a lot. I still have a couple of questions but will ask those later as I just don't have the time right now. Beamer
